We recently inherited a 70 year old Seth Thomas Steeple Clock that my parents purchased new in 1950. It had been inoperable for years. I brought it in to Maryland Clock and Watch to see if they could get it up and running. They did and for a fair price. Not only was it repaired but the owner provided a 15 minute tutorial on how to maintain and operate it. They also provided a 3 year warranty. I highly recommend Maryland Clock and Watch. They''re professional and pleasant to work with!!

Maryland Clock was a welcome discovery. They managed to repair my old Cyma watch where others had failed, and for a very reasonable price. I also purchased a Tiffany mantle clock from them. They stand by their work and are courteous and efficient. I highly recommend them and fully intend to use them for all my clock and watch repairs.

Both people came to the clock site at one time or the other. I found them to be courteous and full of correct information. Price quoted was explained and a workable payment plan was worked out. It took the expected time to repair the grandfather clock at the shop and re delivery was efficient and on time. The technician explained how to set up the clock works as he did so in my home. How to do minor adjustments was also explained. The warranty was discussed. The clock has been keeping time and the chimes sound wonderfully tuned. Thanks.

My father crafted a grandfather clock in 1976 with a quality movement. I inherited the clock upon his death. The clock was running but stopped often. Maryland Clock and Watch came to my home for diagnosis recommending the movement to be overhauled. They showed me the worn bushings causing misalignment of gears. I suspect my dad never maintained the movement. My father’s grandfather clock has operated flawlessly since the work done on it!

Maryland Clock and Watch Repair gave me great service! I have a beloved clock my mother gave me that was on my list to repair for months because I didn't know where to go to have it repaired. Finally, I took action and began with the Yellow Pages and I'm so glad I did! Maryland Clock and Repair was wonderful! Not only were they able to fix my clock, they were friendly and professional too! I highly recommend them!

The grandfather clock given to us by my father in law who passed away last year was damaged at our recent move. I was so fortunate to have found Jared. His company was highly rated and he did not disappoint. The appointment was set up fairly quickly and he was very professional when he came to our house. He even did a follow up. That’s customer service and the rate was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I have had my antique mantle clock to your shop several times. It is finally worn out and I have decided not to have it completely re-made. I do want to thank you for offering to change the time twice a year for me and for replacing the brass works with a small battery powered clock which will allow me to see the time from quite far. Thanks too for carrying it to the car while I held the rail back to the parking area. You do take good care of your customers!

It was time to get my 65 year old pocket watch serviced. These time pieces are amazing little precision machines that require cleaning and lubrication about every 5 years. This being said, they also require a watchmaker with the unique skill set to perform this service. Doing some research, I took my watch to Maryland Clock and Watch Repair. Having had my watch back for a week now, it has and continues to run flawlessly. Beyond the excellent service, I can also say that if you want to deal with folks that maintain ethical standards and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction, then you can't go wrong with the folks at MCWR.

Turned in watches for repair and they weren't touched for months. Owner called me personally and apologized and tried to fix the issue. He guaranteed the watches would be done in 14 days. I gave them to him on December 23, 2020 and he called me January 23, 2020. Far cry from the 14 days promised (via email no less) but I'll let you decide. Here is how I received one watch back from them, the back wasn't even put back on! Sheesh!

They did an excellent job in repairing my wall clock and at a reasonable price. I was surprised that it was fixed on the spot and I didn't have to wait long. I recommend them to anyone who needs to have a clock repaired.

I have a grandfather clock that has not worked for many years. I contacted 3 clock repair companies and Maryland Clock and Watch Repair was the first one to get back to me. That was my lucky day.A date and time was scheduled and Nick contacted me to let me know he was on his way and if it was ok that he was a few minutes early. He treated my clock like it was made of fine china. He took pictures, explained in detail what was required to fix the clock and quoted a fair price for the repair.The clock was returned within the time frame promised. (Was a day or two over, but it was over a holiday) He spent a lot of time going over the care on maintenance of my clock. I was given written instruction and phone numbers to call if I had any questions. Nick is meticulous. He cleaned the case, glass and every surface of the clock. I received 3 follow up phone calls to insure that my clock was was keeping perfect time. I highly recommend Maryland Clock and Watch Repair.

Nick and Jared are passionate, knowledgable and competent. Prices are very fair and the conversations are great fun and informative. Nick takes the time to explain the clock and its history while taking the time to ensure proper set up on site. The go to place for timepieces of any sort!

Nick Haitis serviced our 19 year old Howard Miller 610-698 grandfather clock. The hour chimes stopped working.Nick was prompt and full of knowledge. The good news was that he got it working and cleaned it up. The bad news was that the gears were grinding because of improper maintenance throughout the years. He documented his conclusions by physically showing us the problem.We were given a detailed invoice (with pictures) with our options. In no way were we pressured into anything.I would certainly use the company in the future.

My experience with Jared and his team at Maryland Clock and Watch Repair was great! I came in with a sentimental time piece that I thought had a big problem. They were quick to diagnose and repair an easy fix and didn’t overcharge me for it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for help! They were nice to work with and reasonable on both price and turnaround around time.

Maryland Clock & Watch restored an antique tall clock that had belonged to my parents, so it was quite sentimental to me. They explained exactly what should be done. After the repairs I received a manual on the care of this clock and received calls a few times a week to assist with the timing. They are true professionals and I am very pleased that I met them. Highly recommend their services
